Rocky Mountain Throwdown
The Legacy High School percussion competed at 3rd Annual Rocky Mountain Throwdown at the Drums Along The Rockies, Saturday, July 9th.  Legacy competed against Cherry Creek High School and Arapahoe High School.  All three schools performed their “throwdown” in a preliminary competition where the scores were tallied to be added to the scores in the final. All three schools then performed in the finals competition before the opening of the Drums Along the Rockies event.  Legacy performed a very entertaining show in true “throwdown” fashion and took first place and will receive a $500 prize.  Congratulations to the Legacy Percussion on a job well done!
