I am writing to you on behalf of Centaurus Band Boosters with some important information regarding todays State Showcase at Centaurus!
Parking
Parents, please plan to drop your students off near the school at your band’s call time and then park off site. Elevations Credit Union, Howe Mortuary, BVVA Compass Bank, Autana Preschool, and Angevine Middle School (all located on South Boulder Road) are good alternatives and have given us permission to park at their facilities. There is also a fair amount of off-street parking in the neighborhood to the south of the school. All visiting bands are sending their students by car, so the CHS lot will be quite full. There will be limited close-in, handicapped parking in the lot for those with permits. Plan to enter the school parking lot via Warrior Way and exit at South Boulder Road entrance.
Ice Cream
Cowabunga Creamery, located near the school at 1455 Coal Creek Dr Unit M, Lafayette, CO 80026 (next to the bowling alley) has graciously offered a FREE Mini Moo Ice Cream to all band member/performers today. They are open noon to 9:00 pm.
It looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous day! Thank you all for your flexibility and willingness to make this happen for our kids!
