The 16th Annual Legacy Marching Festival will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 at the Adams 12 Five Star Stadium in Thornton, Colorado. I hope that you will be able to join us! We will have an outstanding judging panel and will again offer the Sunday clinics for directors and staff.

NEW STADIUM POLICY The Adams 12 School District has implemented a clear bag policy at all stadiums that we are required to enforce for Legacy Marching Festival this year. Backpacks, coolers, duffel bags and large purses WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE STADIUM. All bags are subject to search.

Spectators should plan to arrive at the main entrance which is on the west side of the stadium facing Washington St (not on the east side along Hoffman Way via E 95th Ave). For whatever reason, Google Maps navigation routing will try to take you to the east side of the stadium (Hoffman Way via E 95th Ave), but that is incorrect.

All spectator parking is on the west side of Washington St around Thornton High School and will require using the pedestrian overpass bridge to transit from the parking areas to the stadium. Refer to the Aerial map for specific spectator lots and locations.

A very limited amount of handicapped parking will be made available closer to the stadium and only to vehicles displaying handicapped stickers.

Please allow 30-60 minutes before your school’s performance time to park, walk to the stadium, purchase your ticket at admissions, enter the stadium and be seated. There is no parking adjacent to the stadium as this is used for buses and equipment trucks.

The top row of seating under the Press Box will be reserved for Legacy Marching Festival trophy sponsors and trophy presenters. This row is not available for general seating.

The stands will be completely emptied and cleaned after Prelims awards and before Finals begin. All spectators must exit the stadium at this time and take all their belongings. We will re-open the gates for Finals approximately 15 minutes before Finals begin. Please plan accordingly.

Spectators will not be allowed to enter the seating area during a band performance, only between band performances.
There is no ATM onsite. Our main concessions accepts cash or credit. Our concessions carts accept cash only. ATMs are available at several establishments at the corner of Washington St and Thornton Pkwy.

ANIMAL POLICY: No animals will be allowed in the stadium except for service animals. A service animal is an animal trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability. Pets providing emotional support, well-being, comfort, or companionship are not recognized as service animals under ADA regulations and will not be admitted.

*We honor CBA Staff & CHSAA passes for admittance.
*Per CBA Rules, pit crew and prop volunteers will be required to have a Field Pass wristband for prelims/finals to enter the field and will be admitted to the FIELD ONLY.
*Pit crew and prop volunteers will not be admitted to the stands without a purchased attendance wristband.
*All advanced ticket purchases are non-refundable.
