Hello Band and Orchestra students and families –
We are a few days away from the start of our Snap! Raise fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who has signed up and added email addresses for potential supporters! This is a new fundraiser for us and we’re excited to see how it works. If you haven’t had a chance to log-in and set up a profile, there’s still time. It’s an easy process and only takes a few minutes. We’d love to have as many students as possible participate. If you don’t have 20 email addresses to enter, that’s OK, enter what you can.
A few families have reached out with questions about what Snap! Raise does with the email addresses that you enter. They will only be used for this fundraiser and they will not be sold to third parties. During the fundraiser, Snap! Raise will send an initial email to your supporters and then a few follow-up message depending on whether people donate or not. Snap Raise is a reputable company that has been doing on-line fundraising for many years and has been used by lots of organizations in our area. Like all our fundraisers, some families may decide that this type of fundraiser is not for them and that’s totally OK. Our family has a lot of friends and family that live out of state who can’t buy peaches, butter braids, etc., so an on-line fundraiser is a way for them to show their support if they choose.
