4/7 Performing Arts Showcase Concert (formerly the State Preview Concert) 6:30PM – dress rehearsal and concert call times TBD. Will let students know tomorrow in class.
4/9 Sectionals in class (all winds remain in their lasses, all percussion to 5th period)

Legacy Band car magnets are now available for sale! Look for them at the Booster Board meeting on Monday or the Winter Percussion Send Off show. 1 for $10 or 3 for $25, card or tap to pay.
FINANCE:
A **HUGE **thank you to everyone who has funded their FRG this year!! We are currently at 54% funded for FRG. We can’t run our band program without you! We establish our annual budget counting on your support to financially contribute to your fundraising goal.
In case anyone is wondering what these funds go toward, here are some of our biggest expenses from this year:
Marching Band Instructors, Drill Writing, Production Design: $68,000
Other Marching Band Expenses (Including props, equipment, guard, UDB, etc.): $28,000
Winter Guard/Percussion Instructors: $25,000
Sectional Coaching: $19,000
Transportation (Big Blue/Uhauls, including repairs): $22,000 (this doesn’t include WP Dayton trip)

BAND BANQUET aka BAND PROM

We are SO excited for our upcoming Band Banquet on the evening of May 2nd! More details on the time and location will be announced soon.
This is a special night dedicated to celebrating our students and all of their hard work and success throughout the year. The evening will include a sit-down dinner followed by awards and special recognitions.

Want a behind-the-scenes pass to some of the band’s most memorable events? I’m looking for someone to shadow me next year as Band Events Coordinator.
You’ll help bring to life some of our biggest and most fun traditions, learn the ropes, and be part of what makes these experiences so special for our students.
