– Welcome home and congratulations to the Legacy Winter Percussion for their 16th place finish at WGI World Championships this past weekend in Ohio. 16th place out of 52 HS groups is pretty darn awesome! They worked hard all year, represented our community well, and gave two inspiring performances….Legacy is so proud of them!
– Lettering Forms are DUE next week.
– Leadership Team interviews are coming up. Make sure all requirements have been met.

This is a special night dedicated to celebrating our students and all of their hard work and success throughout the year. The evening will include a sit-down dinner followed by awards and special recognitions.

I find the e-gift cards to be the easiest way to participate but if you do want to order physical gifts cards you can have those shipped to the coordinator. In order to save on the shipping costs that the band pays I will be placing one order per month. This will take place on the second Friday of each month. After receiving cards, which takes about a week, I will reach out via email to get those cards to those who have ordered them. Any questions please reach out.

**CHAPERONES **
As I head into my last two events as the lead chaperone, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting… and wow, what a ride these past four years have been. I had so much fun!
To our band family, thank you. Thank you for trusting me to help take care of your kids, for welcoming me in, and for making this experience so much more than just volunteering. I truly had a blast. Every early morning, long day, bus ride, and crazy schedule was worth it.
To the students, you are the reason this has meant so much to me. I’ve loved getting to know you, cheering you on, and watching you grow into the amazing people you are. You’ve made me laugh more than you probably realize, and I’ll carry those moments with me always.
I’m also sharing all the photos I took this year. I hope you love them as much as I loved capturing them. Those little moments, the big ones, all of it… they mean a lot to me, and I hope they bring back some great memories for you too.

This won’t ever feel like a full goodbye… just a shift. I’ll still be around, still cheering you all on, just from a different spot.
So grateful for the memories, the relationships, and all the moments in between!
