Good evening, STATE CHAMPIONS & Families!!
Congratulations to our AMAZING band for their State Championship title!! Thank you to all of the friends, family, and supporters who made the trip down to show their support, to our chaperones and food team for making Saturday a wonderful experience for the kids, and to the truck and pit crew for wrangling props in the wind and keeping the band safe on the field during competition!
No current updates from Dr. Ebert. Watch for another update into the week from him, if necessary.

Last call to buy Finals tickets at Grand Nationals on Nov. 14th at 7pm! Visit the Simple Raise store to purchase. We will start selling our extra tickets on Friday Oct. 30th to people outside our band program.
Students already have tickets purchased for Finals. These are for family members attending in Indy.
Help needed at Grand Nationals!
After an amazing, long day at STATE where our students became STATE CHAMPIONS, we are now looking toward Grand Nats. In hopes of giving chaperones a fullish night’s rest so they can be at peak performance during the day, we are soliciting the names and phone numbers of those who are going to Indianapolis and would be willing to be a partial-overnight “Hall Monitor” for one shift. Just walk periodically around the hotel and make sure our kids are getting their rest. If there are ANY concerns, you get to wake Crystal or Amanda to tend to that concern! Benefits include enormous thanks from all chaperones and fully functional chaperones during the day.

FROM THE FOOD TEAM
Thank you to everyone who braved the early morning darkness to make breakfast and the cold, dusty field to serve dinner yesterday. We fueled champions!
Now we shift our focus to Grand Nationals. We may need some parent support with food logistics in Indy. If you are going to have a vehicle or a rental with a refrigerator and are willing to help, please email foodcoordinator@legacybands.
FUNDRAISING
This is the last week of our fall fundraiser! All orders and payments are due on Friday,10/30. Please make sure any paper orders (butter braids only) and checks are placed in the band box by 8:00 am on 10/30.
COLOR GUARD
Winter Guard rehearsals start this week. Please check with your students and the Legacy Winter Guard Band App for details. More information will be coming regarding Winter Guard and what help we need from both guard and band parents to make this season, and the Legacy Winter Guard Festival, a success.
