I really need people to step in and help with chaperoning for these upcoming events. If you do sign up, please make sure you’ve done the Raptor sign up in the Legacy main office. Chaperoning is not difficult, and we can tell you what to do as we’ll be with you almost the whole time; just have to split up on buses but you’ll always be with an experienced chaperone. It really IS a lot of fun being around the kids and with them before and after they perform! We do a lot of great things to help them get ready to perform, but it’s not an overwhelming role.
CLEAN UP CREW: Another way you can help for a very short amount of time is the Clean Up Crew. You’d meet the buses when they return to the school after the events (competitions) and help the chaperones unload and put away their stuff. This is SO helpful & welcome by your chaperones!
If you have any questions or qualms but are thinking about it, please email me at volunteer@legacybands.org, or you can text my cell at 720-232-8333.
Thank you for considering it! We’d love to have new people and especially freshman & sophomore parents help out & learn the ropes!!
