Dear Legacy Band Families,
The Legacy Marching Festival is this week on Saturday ! This is going to be an amazing event with 22 bands in addition to Legacy coming together.
MANDATORY MEETING 7:00 TUESDAY, SEPT 21 in the auditorium for Legacy Festival volunteers. If you cannot make it, please contact Tammy Specht (volunteers@legacybands.org). Also, if any parents are interested in learning more about being on the festival committee for next year, please let us know. We are in need of parents to take over for Concessions, Escorts, Bus Greeters and Sponsorships.
VOLUNTEERING:We cannot do this without your help! Thank you to everyone who has volunteered. We are still in need of a few more festival volunteers. This is a fun way to help out, be with the students and get a front row seat to the show. PARENT INFORMATION:This is a really fun and really long day for the students. Please make sure they get a good night’s sleep Friday night! Lunch and dinner is provided so they will be well taken care of during the day. As always, they should have their water bottles and sunscreen with them. There is a copy of the full schedule on the Legacy Bands website under the Festival tab. The prelims will be from 9:00 – 3:30 with Legacy, as the hosts, performing the Exhibition performance at 3:45. The finals are from 5:30 – 8:30 with the Legacy Exhibition performance at 8:45. The award ceremony follows at 9:15. If you have any questions about the day, please let us know. If you know or have any middle school students in Adams 12 they will get free admission to the event with their ID. Lastly, the band calendar has been updated since Dr. Ebert took over. If you have not updated your Google calendar since then, you may need to delete the previous calendar and reload.
