Hello Band Students and Parents:
We will have 2 uniform fitting sessions on July 18th and 25th during rehearsal. We will need to get through 130+ students on these 2 days. Please note the details in the instructions below:
Student Instructions:
1. All students: Please wear shorts (Gym/PE style) and a t-shirt for more accurate fitting of uniforms. The uniforms will go over your shorts and t-shirt. Bulky clothing will result in an inaccurate fit for marching.
2. Dinkles (marching shoes). Every band member needs a pair that fits and is in good condition. Sizes will be recorded during uniform fittings on July 18th and 25th and Mrs. Thoming will order them shortly after so that they arrive before the Broomfield Days parade. Returning students should wear (or bring) Dinkles to practice for uniform fitting.
Parents: Dinkles (marching shoes) have once again been added to Charms. Please log in and pay for your student’s Dinkles as they have to be ordered immediately to be back in time for the Broomfield Days Parade.
Parent Volunteers – “Many hands make light work!” We need A LOT OF HELPERS so fittings go quickly and efficiently. No sewing involved! Different areas of help include fitting shoes, gloves, jackets, bibs (pants) and shakos (hats). If you are available, even for just an hour, please sign up to help at the following link:
