We had a great turn out for our RMPA home show on Saturday! Now we look forward to our RMCGA home show on March 21st.
FROM DR. EBERT:
– We want everyone to go to Indy for Nationals! Please sign up by 3/11!
– Scott Lang Leadership Training at MRHS is coming up on April 13th (same day as the All Parent Meeting). All students who wish to apply for the Leadership Team are required to participate in this training.
It costs $25 per student. Please make a check out to Legacy Band Boosters and have students put it in the band box by Friday March 13th, 2026.
– Performance Evaluations begin 3/16 in class. These evaluations determine next year’s band class.
3/9 WE Full Rehearsal 3:30-5:30PM; SW woodwind sectional 3:30-5:30PM (Musical Pit Orchestra is exempt from these practices)
3/9 WP Rehearsal 8am-1pm
3/10 SW Full Rehearsal 3:30-5:30PM; WE woodwind sectional 3:30-5:30PM (Musical Pit Orchestra is exempt from these practices)
3/11 BOA GRAND NATIONALS Trip Registration DUE; Winter Percussion Dayton Trip Meeting 7pm
3/12 Sectionals in class; UNIFIED BB GAME #1 3:45PM-4:45PM (LT and volunteers needed/Musical Pit Orchestra is exempt)
3/14 MATTRESS FUNDRAISER (all day) student volunteer sign ups have been posted in Schoology

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and donated items for our successful RMPA Show. It was a bonus to see our own Legacy WP team perform on their home floor and capture 1st place PSO with an improved score of 83.90!

EVENTS:
We are so excited to start planning for the 2025/26 Band Banquet which will be held on May 2nd. Please stay tuned to the weekly emails for further details on this amazing event! In the meantime, we could use your help to start uploading the fantastic photos that you have taken throughout the year of the band kids for the slideshow we will play at the banquet.
We strongly recommend that the students also upload their photos as they are more “behind the scenes” and take plenty of pictures and selfies throughout the year.
We normally get lots of photos that are uploaded and have to sift through them so you can help us by only uploading photos of the students that are band related and appropriate.
