Freshmen Liaison:
Welcome Class of 2030! I hope your incoming freshman is excited about beginning their marching band journey at one of the BEST high school music programs in Colorado! My name is Carla Keahey. My kids are Paxton, a rising sophomore percussionist, and Everett, a rising junior trombone. I am happy to serve as the freshmen liaison! Please reach out with any questions as they come up at freshmen@legacybands.com.
Please join us for a New Parent Meeting on May 16, 9:00-10:30am. This occurs during practice, which is 9am-1pm.
Today’s tip! When you are out shopping for your kid — watch for black, white, and navy athletic t-shirts. The band wears the same color during practice (for visibility of formations from above) and rotates between these three! (They will accumulate lots of navy shirts over time, so I’d focus more so on black and white. 🙂
Fundraising:

Finance:
If you have any outstanding fees in CutTime please pay them ASAP!! Your contributions are vital to covering the booster’s operational costs and balancing our budget. Thank you ALL for your continued support of our band program! We couldn’t do what we do without you!!

- Pay through your student’s CutTime account.
- Make a check out to Legacy Band Boosters and drop it in the band box in the band room. Write your student’s name on the memo line.
- Pay through Zelle (president@legacybands.org).

Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who helped make the band banquet such a special and memorable night!
From check-ins, to setting up and breaking down, as well as picking up cake and ice, cutting cake, and keeping the coffee flowing, every detail was covered because of your willingness to jump in and help. We truly could not have done it without you.
A special thank you to the Winklers for the amazing audio, video and lighting. Everything looked and sounded fantastic. And of course, thank you to DJ Treble T (Mr. Tafoya) for keeping the energy high and the dance floor full all night long.
It was also wonderful to celebrate in such a great new venue. It made the night feel even more special, and we may have found our spot for next year!
It was so fun to see the kids relax, celebrate, and dance the night away. Everyone had such a great time, and that is because of you.
