Our first Booster board meeting of the 26-27 school year is tomorrow, August 3rd from 6-7pm in the band room.

- Please note that we will not practice this Thursday because of Back to School Night.
- Please note that I have canceled the practice on Saturday August 15th.
We are finalizing rehearsal dates for our next Broncos halftime show, 10/15 vs the Seahawks. Please keep an eye on the October calendar.

**Tag Day Fundraiser is THIS Weekend – We Need Drivers! **
When: Saturday, August 8th | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
What is Tag Day?
Tag Day is one of our biggest annual fundraisers. Student teams go door-to-door in local neighborhoods asking for donations to support our program and handing out informational tags to community members.
WE NEED YOU:
Driver Chaperones: Drive a team of 4 students to their assigned neighborhood route. Drivers need a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with seat belts for 5 people (yourself + 4 students). Note: All drivers must complete LHS chaperone paperwork and a Raptor Check at the front office (forms will be provided after sign-up).
Check-In Table: Hand out neighborhood maps, collection jugs, and tags to teams in the morning, and assist groups returning early that need a second route.

1230pm – Uniform Closet Opens – dress in full uniform, no shakos, dinkles are optional (wear black socks if you want your feet in the photo).

230pm – all seniors dismissed to prepare for 3pm rehearsal

Important!! Uniform Return – AJR participants only
There are still about a dozen uniforms that have not been returned. These need to be returned ASAP! If you have not returned your uniform after taking it home from the AJR concert to clean and press, please drop it off prior to band camp. Uniform Cleaning Instructions
Meal Plan:
Good food fuels effective practices and successful performances.
We need parents to participate in fueling our band through the Meal Plan.
On Tuesday, we are having a meeting to plan for the season and choose some of our menus. All are welcome. Please join us on August 4th from 6-8 at the Hornsby Homestead at 13501 Lowell Blvd Farm next to the Fire Station.
We need parents interested in helping cook and especially with ice cream machines or grills to prep food. Please email foodcoordinator@legacybands.org if you are interested.

Dine to Donate!!
Thank you to everyone who ate at Red Robin on Wednesday. We raised over $550!
Our next Dine to Donate is at Noodles & Co at the Orchards on Wed., August 12th, from 4-8.
I know we have had a lot of D2D in the last few weeks, as we get into the craziness of the season, we will go back to just one a month. We appreciate your participation in raising funds for this year’s exciting show!

I will be placing an order for physical gift cards on the second Friday of each month. This month is August 14th. Be sure to place those orders before then if you want them shipped to the coordinator.
Argus Fundraising
Thanks to everyone who worked Argus events last week! ACDC was on fire! Literally, LOL! And fireworks at the Rapids game as well!
Just a reminder, I have to turn in rosters two weeks ahead of time to the Argus events team, so sign up needs to occur by that time. As much as possible, please do not cancel yourself from the roster after that time as well. Of course there are emergencies, etc., but just wanted to remind everyone of the general guideline.
We will be pausing event participation for the marching band season, but can resume in the winter if there is enough interest to help cover remaining FRG or Winter guard/percussion costs. Please take a look at the September Phish concert dates on the Sign Up genius Sept 4-6 if you are interested. Aramark is close to up and running, so concession events may also be available soon as well. Thank you for your patience on that as well!
Legacy Festival – September 26th at Five Star Stadium
8 WEEKS UNTIL FESTIVAL!! Half the jobs have been filled – thank you! Free admission for volunteers and half off concessions – come early or stay after your shift to enjoy the show. Two shifts per student needed!
