Hello Band Family!
We hope you are enjoying your Summer with your friends and family! Please see below for the June 7th weekly update:
FROM DR. EBERT:
– Section families, make it a habit to touch base with each other to make sure everyone is getting our communications.
– Look for messages from Mr. Tafoya regarding AJR/Red Rocks
– We still have students who need to be measured for uniforms, t-shirts, and custom tops. Be on the lookout for messages from Mrs. O’Brien to schedule a time to come in this week. We are marching in custom tops this season, and we will be placing the order before July 1st. As a result, we need all measurements before then so we can put together the production order.
– Section Leader Check-ins: section students should be sharing performances with their section leaders, and section leaders will submit their own check-in videos with Ebert and Tafoya. Everyone should focus on memorizing the warmups we have done together, as well as memorizing Part 1. Daily practice is key.\
AJR REDROCKS PERFORMANCE **
Students Participating in the AJR Red Rocks Performance:
Students must sign up for and join the following Google Classroom for the AJR performance. All details are in this classroom along with playing assignments.

UNIFORMS
**If you were not fitted for a uniform during May camp you will be receiving an email this week regarding getting fitted for one. Please keep an eye out for the email, especially if you are attending AJR, as it is imperative that we get you set up prior to that day.\
FUNDRAISING
Last call for volunteers for the Ed Sheeran concert!
Applications for the 7/4 concert are due by 6/15!
Our Peach Fundraiser is in full swing! Dates to remember:
6/30 Salsa and Jam orders cutoff at 10:00 pm
7/14 Peach orders cutoff at 10:00 pm
7/27 Peach Order Pickup at Legacy (more details to come)**
Raising Cane’s Summer Fundraiser **

LEGACY BAND CAR SHOW
Our car show planning team can use your help! Please join our Facebook group where you will find communication!
We are actively seeking people who can go around to local businesses and see if they would be willing to donate items or money to the car show. We also need people to promote and help get cars registered by attending other local car shows.**

LEGACY MARCHING BAND FESTIVAL
The Legacy Marching Festival is our largest fundraiser, and it all happens in one long, glorious day! Therefore, we need lots of people-power to make this successful. There are over 300 slots on our sign up genius! For these reasons, we require at least 2 shifts for every student. Extended family and friends are very much welcome! We will have a volunteer training day before the event, date TBD. Festival date is Saturday, September 26th. Please reach out to me with any questions at .
