Uniforms
Dinkles are here! If you have PAID for them they are labeled and in the band room, please grab ASAP. If you have not paid for them, get your payment in asap. You must have your Dinkles by this Saturday’s parade and festival.
Please reach out to if you have any questions or need a different size as we may be able to accommodate changes as we have a few extra.
Color Guard
Color Guard will be wearing black jazz shoes this season. All guard members will need to purchase a pair in preparation for our first competition on Saturday. Please not that you will need to measure your foot for these (not your normal shoe size, yes you’ll likely be buying a smaller size than you normally wear!).
Here is a link with an example of jazz shoes. If you would like to purchase nicer ones, that is up to you. Usually these last one for season. They feel better if you wear them around the house to break them in/get used to them. They are meant to fit tight!

From Food Committee
Thank you to all the volunteers who made sliders, cookie bars, and pasta salad, and cleaned grapes. I think the enthusiasm from the band speaks of their gratitude!
For Saturday, we are making breakfast burritos for after the parade and serving Chick fil A sandwiches for the ride home from Fossil Festival.
We NEED parents to help with smoking a pork shoulder for Legacy Festival dinner. If you are interested, please email I know we all have Festival responsibilities, so we can work with you on the scheduling.
Please visit Food Committee : Meal Plan Volunteers to help!

From finance
Student fundraising goals (FRG) have been added to CutTime accounts. We split it up by month to make it more manageable. You can fund FRG directly through CutTime, Zelle (), or check made out to Legacy Band Boosters and placed in the band box in the band room. You can also participate in fundraisers. The first installment is due 9/30.
CDL Class A drivers still needed for certain dates
Do you or someone you know have a Class A CDL?
We are still looking for semi-truck drivers to fill out our schedule to pull “Blue”, our 53’ equipment trailer, to marching competitions and football games. And having a roster of back-up drivers means that we can still get the band equipment to these events in case of scheduling conflicts.
In particular, we still do not have any tentative drivers for:
- Oct. 2 (Fri.) Homecoming football game
- Oct. 24 (Sat.) State (Semi-finals and Finals)
There are some other dates that we haven’t completely confirmed drivers for so please feel free to reach out about any availability.
For schedule information or any questions, please reach out directly to Jess Odum (), or any other booster board member. Thanks!
As always, reach out with any questions!
