Broomfield Days Parade
*Students need to park their cars in the parking lot, around the perimeter of the rehearsal space, for rehearsal when we return. Parents – if you are carpooling to the parade, please park extra cars to help close the perimeter of the rehearsal space. We have had trouble in the past with visiting cars jumping the curb and parking in the middle of the rehearsal space.
7:00 AM Attendance/Stretch
7:15 AM Basics – parade lines to practice guiding
7:45 AM Get in uniform
7:45 AM Chaperone Meeting
7:55 AM Load buses; quick attendance
8:05 AM Depart for Parade
8:30 AM Arrive at Parade
9:00 AM Warmup in Parade Block
9:20 AM Lineup and Stage (We are #7)
9:30 AM PARADE BEGINS
9:40 AM Approximate Step Off Time
10:30 AM End of the parade route
11:00 AM Depart for Legacy
11:15 AM Arrive at Legacy/Unload and return uniforms
11:30 AM Lunch – served by Food Committee
12:00 PM Rehearse at the Parking Lot
4:00 PM Rehearsal ends
Families: The parade begins at Main and Midway and moves west on Midway towards Nickel Street. Parking is mostly in neighborhoods to the north and south of Midway. The students will board busses at the end of the parade route and immediately return to Legacy.
